New Delhi: At a time when concerns about women safety still looms large, a short film against eve-teasing has gone viral on Internet.
Crime rate against women are on the rise with eve-teasing, stalking, rape and trafficking posing some serious problems to the safety of women.
The short film conveys that we often tend not to care about the safety of women till the time someone of our own is at risk or threatened.
The Khalil Herekar directorial, promoted by Pocket Films, have come out with a short film which gives us a strong message on the issue.
The video shows a girl is followed by a group of drunk men who eye her lustily and start misbehaving with her after cornering her in the middle of the road.
They stop only when one of the men from the group realises who the girl is. Hence the video has been titled `Ashamed`.
Published on Nov 20, it has been viewed 326,701 times on YouTube.
It's really sad to see the how women are treated today. It's about time for a change. Hopefully the powerful short film will leave an impact behind.
