Washington: Sophia Loren, who is making her first screen appearance since Rob Marshall`s 2009 musical `Nine` has said that working with her son Edoardo Ponti on new short film `Human Voice`, was the joy of her life.
According reports, the 79-year-old actress said that when she started to think about it, she was too young but she kept it in her heart for a long time.
Ponti said that he along with her mother discussed about every line, every gesture.
Ponti further said that he told Loren that if they didn`t rehearse, they would hit the same emotional notes over and over again.
`Human Voice` was recently screened at Cannes.
