Los Angeles: The pop-rock musical `Sisterella`, music icon Michael Jackson`s take on the classic fairytale `Cindrella`, is set for a stage revival.
The show, which was produced by the `King of Pop` when it debuted at the Pasadena Playhouse in 1996, will be back on the Los Angeles stage next year, reported E! Online.
Set in turn-of-the-century New York, the musical tells the story of a wicked stepmother who tries to steal the fortune her late husband left to his daughter.
The `Thriller` hitmaker`s business partner Jerry Greenberg and manager Frank Dileo have now teamed up together to reprise the Larry Hart-penned show for another run.
The dance routines in the musical will be choreographed by original dance instructor Raymond G del Barrio.
Meanwhile, the casting details are yet to be announced.
