New Delhi: After presenting a colourful circus, masterful magic and an Indian Broadway, the Kingdom of Dreams is all set to mesmerise its audiences with `The Black Light Theatre`, a unique performance using ultra-violet (UV) light to create visual illusions.
The Black Light Theatre, slated to start Nov 8, is characterised by the use of black curtains, a darkened stage, and black lighting (UV light), paired with fluorescent costumes in order to create the intricate illusions.
Viraf Sarkari, director of Kingdom of Dreams says he hopes to capture the imagination of the audience with the new experience from Prague, exhibited in India for the first time.
"This show adds one more to the list of stunning international shows which have been brought to India. After a successful run of mega-magic by Franz Harary and Acromania - the Mongolian Circus, this new international show will be exciting for both international and Indian tourists," Sarkari told IANS.
"We hope to capture the imagination of the audiences with The Black Light Theatre. It is a pleasure to present Czech culture and their unusual theatre technique for Indian audience. Going forward at Kingdom of Dreams, our endeavour will be to bring such interesting shows that have never before been experienced in our subcontinent," he added.
