Nick overjoyed after West End debut
London: Nick Jonas was elated after his theatre dreams came true on June 21 when he made his debut in London’s famed West End play.
The teenage star of boy band, the ‘Jonas Brothers’, began his career as a child actor on Broadway.
He marked his first night playing Marius in ‘Les Miserables’ at the Queen’s Theatre in the capital.
The 17-year-old has also agreed to a three-week stint in the West End.
Nick’s older siblings and bandmates, Kevin and Joe, flew over to cheer and watch their brother take to the stage in the musical, reports the Daily Star.
"I woke up today and realised... Time flies very quickly... When you’re living the dream," the Daily Star quoted Jonas as writing in a post on his Twitter.com page on the morning of his performance.
"What a night. First show was amazing. Thanks to everyone for the good luck messages. Congrats (congratulations) to all my cast mates. Goodnight," he added after his first curtain call.
