Saunders pens ‘Spice Girls’ musical

London: Jennifer Saunders is gearing up for her first project post-cancer - the story for the ‘Spice Girls’ musical.

The comedian is writing the script based around the girl group`s songs.

The show, provisionally titled Viva Forever, is the brainchild of Judy Craymer.

Judy has teamed up with the Spice Girls` original manager Simon Fuller to create a musical that will "harness the distinct personality of the Spice Girls", reports the Sun.

Presumably that means the cast will be loud, brash and not wearing much. It`s great to hear Jennifer is working again.
