Sting to return to Broadway

London: Sting is making a comeback to Broadway – the Brit rocker has confirmed reports of working on a musical for the New York stage.

Sting 58, who has joined hands with Tony Award-winning songwriter Brian Yorkie to pen his first Broadway project, says the final product is yet to emerge as they are still in the process of finalising an idea.

"We`re in the very early stages of thinking about what a show could be like. I`m working with Brian Yorkie," a news daily quoted Sting, as telling People magazine.

The former The Police frontman is not new to Broadway having starred in a production of 3 Penny Opera in the late 1980s.
