Unseen images of ‘injured’ Marilyn Monroe revealed

Unseen images of Marilyn Monroe with an injured leg have finally been revealed.

London: Unseen images of Marilyn Monroe with an injured leg have finally been revealed.
The photographs were clicked on the sets of ‘River of no Return’ in 1953, the Daily Mail reported. The images show the icon looking invariably stylish even with crutches and a broken ankle. In the first shot, the actress posed for the shot wearing a black bikini and one high heel. The pictures were taken by photographer John Vachon in the Canadian Rockies for Look magazine in 1953, but only three from the album were selected for the final edition and the rest of them were hidden. The 100 pictures form a part of a coffee table book entitled August 1953: The Lost LOOK Photos. As most of the original negatives of Vachon’s photographs were damaged, each of the black-and-white images in the book were digitally restored. “We were working with photo researcher Amy Pastan on another project when she tipped us about a set of rare Marilyn Monroe photographs by Vachon,” Chris Kuppig, the President of Dover Publications revealed.
