New Delhi: To showcase his journeys across India and abroad, amateur photographer Deepak Acharya is organising his first six-day solo photography exhibition in the national capital.

The exhibition, titled ‘Vagabond with a Camera’, opened at Attic in Connaught Place on Monday and will run through June 16.

It showcases pictures taken with local people, their customs and offers an insight into the places.

“Being an independent travel photographer, I have always believed that travelling and photography go hand in hand. Keeping with the spirit, the images on display were shot during my extensive travel journeys across India,” Deepak said, who has visited Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Sikkim, Kerala, Goa, Puducherry and Karnataka in India.

The exhibition is open from 11:30am to 6:30pm.
