Vintage James Bond poster fetches USD 125,000

London: The original poster of the James Bond movie `Diamonds Are Forever` has fetched a staggering USD 125,000 in an auction here.

The hand-painted piece made more than three times the original estimate of USD 38,000 after a collector bid the amount at the Christie`s sale on Jun 15, reported Contactmusic.

The rare poster features a mis-spelling of actress Lana Wood`s name and depicts 007 star Sean Connery holding a gun with two Bond girls at his side.

A poster for the 1942 Humphrey Bogart classic `Casablanca` also went under the hammer, fetching USD 48,000.
