Walt Disney’s 1932 12-room LA mansion on sale for $3.65m

London: Walt Disney’s 12-room mansion in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, built in 1932 is up for sale for 3.65 million dollars.

The home was completed in less than two months on a 50,000 dollars budget after the Mouse House released a handful of successful short films, reports a website.

It has a projection and screening room, once served as an in-home office for the Disney owner.

The four-bedroom LA home is gated and placed on an acre of land.

It features a Mediterranean-style entry, a circular rotunda and painted ceilings decorate the interior and a pool in the backyard.

A two-storey living room with beamed and vaulted ceilings and wrought-iron rails gives the home a whimsical feel.

It also has its original leaded stained glass windows and hard wood floors.

Disney lived in this home for about 18 years, although he owned several other Los Angeles properties.
