Woody Allen`s new play criticised over all-white cast?

Oscar-winning filmmaker Woody Allen`s new play `Bullets Over Broadway` has reportedly been panned by critics over an all-white cast.

New York: Oscar-winning filmmaker Woody Allen`s new play `Bullets Over Broadway` has reportedly been panned by critics over an all-white cast.
The `Scoop` actor`s production, which opened on April 10, apparently garnered some negative reviews for featuring a nearly all-white cast despite it telling the story about a famed Harlem hot spot, reportedly. Insiders insist that Woody, 78, specifically requested for no black gangsters in his musical. "Casting was considering a big-name African-American actor for the play, but Woody passed because he just got the idea that a black gangster wouldn`t be good. One man wasn`t asked back and then was told it was Woody who didn`t want any black gangsters," a source said. The only nonwhite actor in the entire production is Kelcy Griffin, who is in the dance ensemble.
