Karan Johar`s upcoming production `2 States`, based on Chetan Bhagat`s novel of the same name, will hit the theatres on April 18 next year.

Mumbai: Karan Johar`s upcoming production `2 States`, based on Chetan Bhagat`s novel of the same name, will hit the theatres on April 18 next year.
The film directed by Abhishek Varman, stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
"`2 States` which stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be releasing on the 18th Of April, 2014," Johar tweeted.
The movie is a Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala production.
Arjun plays the character of Krish Malhotra while Alia plays Ananya Swaminathan in the movie.
