`Daawat-e-Ishq` release postponed to September 19

New Delhi: The release of Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapoor`s upcoming movie `Daawat-e-Ishq` has been postponed by a few weeks.
The movie was earlier slated to release in the first week of September. The movie will now hit theatre screens on Sep 19.
A statement was released by YRF, the dates were shifted to give more time to a unique marketing idea that is being adopted by Yash Raj Films.
The movie is being produced by Aditya Chopra and is being helmed by Habib Faisal. The movie has also been written by Fazal.
Parineeti plays Gulrez Qadir, a Hyderabadi shoe salesgirl. Aditya Roy Kapoor plays Tariq "Taru" Haidar, a Lucknowi cook in Hyderabad.
The film marks the entry of Karan Wahi on the big screen.
The chemistry of the leading couple is being highly talked about the movie promises to be an unusual love story.
