Cairo: An Indian cinema club was launched here with the screening of director Shyam Benegal`s political satire `Well Done Abba`.

The Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC), which has been screening Indian films in Egypt twice a week, re-launched the cinema club yesterday with the screening of
the national-award-winning film.

The screening was followed by a discussion by Nadia Gradini, an Egyptian expert on Indian movies. `Well Done Abba` stars Sammir Dattani, Minissha Lamba and Boman Irani.

Set in rural India, the film revolves around the bureaucratic corruption and how a group of villagers led by a young idealistic girl manage to combat it.
