Aamir Khan confirms to play baddie in YRF’s ‘Dhoom 3’
Mumbai: After months of speculations, it’s now official that Aamir Khan will play villain in ‘Dhoom 3’. The ‘Dhoom’ franchise that is known to have classier villains which were essayed by John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan in the first and the second part respectively will now add Aamir to its bad boys list. The film will also star ‘Dhoom’ regulars, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
As per reports, Aamir took the decision after a long meeting with Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra at his Bandra residence. Confirming the news, a daily quoted a source as saying, “Last year in June, Aamir had met YRF scion Aditya Chopra, who had given Aamir an idea of how he envisaged him in Dhoom 3. Aamir had liked what he heard. A detailed script narration took place thereafter on August 13 last year. After that, Aamir mulled if he should do the role or not. But then, Aamir always takes time to commit. And once he does, you know that he lives up to the expectations.”
Reports reveal that Aamir will have a very stylized look in the film. And both Aditya and Aamir will decide the final look.
Talking to reporters, Aamir said, “The Dhoom franchise is a super entertainer. But you know what? I could never imagine myself in it. But it all changed when I heard the script. It`s a fabulous script and when I heard it, I was blown away”.
“Soon, I start shooting for Reema Kagti`s film. Earlier, I worked with YRF in Fanaa. Dhoom 3 will be my second assignment with them. And the pleasure is all mine,” said the actor.
