Mumbai: Bollywood`s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan has no time for a biopic on a man who brought white revolution in India as the actor is busy with out-and-out commercial flicks. Apparently, Aamir rejected a film based on Verghese Kurien, which was supposed to be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Ekta Kapoor. Talking to a daily, a source said, “After ‘Shor In The City’, ‘Ragini MMS’ and the forthcoming ‘The Dirty Picture’, Ekta is looking for suitable scripts to be made into movies under her other banner, Alt Entertainment. With the pre-release buzz around ‘Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster’, someone mentioned about Tigmanshu Dhulia having a couple of novel stories that would suit the profile of Alt.” “Interestingly, they both felt that Aamir would not only deliver but also take the idea to a different level,” said the source. However, Aamir is a busy man as the source revealed, “Besides, he`s also preoccupied with his television show, ‘Satyameva Jayate’ and films like ‘Talaash’ and ‘Dhoom 3’. And not to forget, biopics aren`t working for him yet, as the one on Guru Dutt. So he declined the idea.” When contacted, Tigmanshu confirmed the news and said, “It’s not my next film, but it will be made. I am doing research on Verghese Kurien and working on the script.”
