Mumbai: Although he had managed to impress his fans all the more with his sort of rugged look in Abbas Mustan’s blockbuster flick ‘Race’, actor Saif Ali Khan will not be a part of the film’s much-awaited sequel. According to the latest buzz, Saif has moved out of the sequel of ‘Race’ citing date problem, and now none other than Abhishek Bachchan is most likely to take up the role.
Reports reveal that Saif had to back out of ‘Race 2’ because he’s too busy with his upcoming home production ‘Agent Vinod’, also starring his ladylove, Kareena Kapoor.
The original ‘Race’, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy in pivotal roles. Now, the film’s second edition will not just miss Bollywood beauties Bipasha and Katrina, but also a real heartthrob like Saif, according to reports.
Nevertheless, grapevine has it that the makers of the film have now approached Abhishek Bachchan to replace Saif in the sequel, which is also expected to have Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles.
