Aishwarya asks Madhur to alter love-making scenes in ‘Heroine’

Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai has been showing keenness to work with Madhur Bhandarkar on his dream project ‘Heroine’. The role was initially offered to Kareena Kapoor, who eventually declined the project.

Buzz has it that the Bachchan bahu has urged the director to make certain alterations to the script as she is not okay with certain love making scenes mentioned in it. Though Ash has been showing interest to portray the central character in the film, she has been very rigid about her convictions. But an uncompromising filmmaker that Madhur is, he shall certainly not comply with Aishwarya’s terms and conditions.

Talking to a news daily, an insider revealed that the ace filmmaker might consider approaching some other actress for the role, if Aishwarya maintains her ground firmly. The director shall never compromise with his script for any one, no matter how big a personality he/or she may be.

The source said, "Madhur has incorporated all the vital elements in his script and the love making scenes are an important part. He may not give in to the demand of changes in the script and rather opt for a different actress."

Even as rumours are doing rounds, the filmmaker denies having approached Aishwarya for the role. Clarifying his stance, Madhur, while discussing his project with the daily, said, “I am not in talks with Ash or any other actress about `Heroine`. The project is on hold till `Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji` releases in January 2011. I have just finished a 70 day schedule and I am now editing the film."

Looks like, the filmmaker is not someone who would stoop to please his actors to have them on board. He knows a good script is what makes a film a success and not star presence.

Is Aishwarya hearing it loud and clear?
