Ajay and Abhishek in ‘Golmaal’ remake?

Mumbai: After the roaring success of ‘Singham,’ Rohit Shetty is working on Hrishikesh Mukherji’s cult classic ‘Golmaal’ with Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan. The Amol Palekar-Bindiya Goswami-Utpal Dutt-Shobha Khote starrer is being revamped as ‘Bol Bachchan.’ Apparently, Shetty has changed the storyline to suit the contemporary tastes and will include Ajay, Prachi Desai, Abhishek Bachchan and Asin Thottumkal in lead. Talking to a daily, Shetty said, “While the basic idea is the same, we`ve changed the characters, setting and situations. It`s better to acquire the rights and remake it your own way.” When asked whether ‘Bol Bachchan’ will have high action sequences, as Ajay is playing a wrestler and Abhishek is also getting in shape, the director revealed, “Well, a few thrills are there. But the action will be different from what you`ve seen in ‘Singham.’ But yes, there`s a car chase sequence in the climax. However, it won`t be anything like you`ve seen in my other films so far.” Let’s see if ‘Bol Bachchan’ can set the coffers ringing at the Box Office.
