Ajay, Emraan and Omi come together for Madhur’s comedy caper
Mumbai: Madhur Bhandarkar moves on from realistic cinema and for the first time decides to helm a comedy with his latest release ‘Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji’. Dabbling in a new genre, the director sure doesn’t want to take any chances, and has decided to cast Omi Vaidya of ‘3 Idiots’ game. Along with Omi, Bhandarkar has also signed Ajay Devgn besides Emraan Hashmi in his film.
While the male cast has been finalised, the heroines are yet to be decided. Kumar Mangat, who is co-producing the film with Bhandarkar, confirmed the news and said, “We shall have three heroines in this film. We should be ready with their names in the next ten days.”
This multi-starred film is going to be a huge laugh riot. Kumar Mangat, speaking to a news daily, further said, “Madhur and I had decided to make a film together two years ago. Only recently, we felt that we had the right script which would do justice to a romantic comedy. Madhur and his team wrote the script with Ajay and Emraan in mind. We were very impressed by Omi’s acting in ‘3 Idiots’ and we loved his character Chatur Ramalingam, that’s how he came on board.”
Bhandarkar said, “We start shooting ‘Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji’ by the end of June and shall be ready with it in September.”
