Akshay Kumar in A R Murugadoss’ next action packed venture

After making ‘Ghajini’ with ace actor Aamir Khan, A R Murugadoss has roped in Akshay Kumar for his second Hindi venture. The director, who is known for his love for action, is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his second film is bigger and better in terms of action. With Akshay in the lead and Murugadoss as the director, it’s the actor’s good pal Vipul Shah who will be seen filling the producer’s shoes.

Mumbai: After making a blockbuster ‘Ghajini’ with ace actor Aamir Khan, taskmaster A R Murugadoss has roped in macho actor Akshay Kumar for his second Hindi venture. The director, who is known for his love for action, is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his second film is bigger and better in terms of action. With Akshay in the lead and Murugadoss as the director, it’s the actor’s good pal Vipul Shah who will be seen filling the producer’s shoes. Confirming the news a source said, “All efforts are made to make sure the Akshay-Murugadoss team comes up with a whammy as big as ‘Ghajini’. Though tightlipped about the project, Vipul Shah is all set to spend a whopping Rs 20-25 crore on the action sequences alone.” As for Akshay, the actor has reportedly told the director: “I’ve a reputation for delivering stunts. Make sure the action rocks.” Talking about the film the director said, “Yes, my screenplay for the film with Akshay is an original. Like Ghajini it is basically a love story with a strong action base.”
