New Delhi: Riding high on the success of his last release '2 States', actor Arjun Kapoor is just about to enter the 100-crore club in Bollywood.
The `Gunday` star has claimed many hearts by his exuberant performance in '2 States' which has turned out to be one of the biggest grossers at the box office in 2014.
Directed by Abhishek Varman, '2 States' is set to cross the 100 crore mark this weekend, and this certainly calls for celebration for the actor and the cast of the film. His earlier film `Gunday` earned a whopping 78 crore, a feat very few actors have managed to achieve so early in their career.
For Arjun, '2 States' shed his image of the angry young man to a hopeless romantic and it certainly seems to have worked for him.
The actor however is not afraid of taking up action-packed roles. As per reports, the four-film old actor is very much open to action films in the future and is not worried about getting typecast. Though, he is quite happy that he has managed to break away from the image that he earlier carried.
His on-screen as well as off-screen chemistry with Alia Bhatt has managed to create quite a stir in tinsel town. And, hopefully we will get to see Arjun playing more of such characters in future which brings out the romantic side of him with the 'Highway' star.
Well, kudos to Arjun as he is set to enter the 100 crore club with `2 States`!
