Arjun Rampal’s next film highly inspired by ‘Lakshya’

Mumbai: Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra is currently busy working with actor Arjun Rampal in an untitled film. Arjun Rampal has been highly influenced by Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘Lakshya’ and has been inspired to play the role of a soldier. In the project, Arjun plays a Kargil war soldier. However, the story of Mishra’s film is an after-war plot. An industry insider says, “Arjun Rampal will play a soldier who has fought the Kargil war in the film. However it`s not a war-film per se but more of a human drama and deals more with the life of the soldier after the war”. Arjun is quiet passionately involved with this project and so is Mishra. Apparently, Sudhir has put his political-drama film ‘Dhruv’, starring Farhan Akhtar and Kareena Kapoor on a hold for the moment because he is so occupied working with Rampal. Way to go Arjun, not every day that you get to play a lead role in a film!
