New Delhi: After vowing the audiences with her performance in films like ‘Fashion’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, Kangana Ranaut has donned the dialogue writer’s hat now. According to new buzz, Kangana has penned a couple of dialogues for Viacom Motion Pictures & Phantom Films’ ‘Queen’ directed by Vikas Bahl.
Since the actress is playing a small town girl in the film, she felt a certain connect with her character which inspired the actress to write a few dialogues.
Director Vikas Bahl confirmed the news by saying, “I like it when characters find their own language in the film. That’s why, as Kangana got more into the character, I wanted her to have lines that came naturally to her”.
Kangana too admitted the stint, “I have to talk like a real person and I have to be candid because I play the part of a shy, sheltered and submissive girl, who is very protected by her family”.
Rudrarup Dutta, Head of Marketing and Creative, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures says , "When Kangna heard the script she just feel in love with the character of Rani, she could relate completely to her world, emotions and innocence. Kangana’s inputs on the dialogues have really enhanced the impact of the story and made Rani’s personality come alive."
Viacom Motion Pictures & Phantom Films’ ‘Queen’ directed by Vikas Bahl is scheduled to release February 28, 2014.
