Bhardwaj eyes Hrithik and Aishwarya for ‘Hamlet’ adaptation

After tasting critical and commercial success with ‘Othello’ inspired ‘Omkara’ and ‘Macbeth’ inspired ‘Maqbool’, director Vishal Bhardwaj has once again fallen in love with William Shakespeare. The ace director now plans to work on a film based on Shakespeare’s famous play ‘Hamlet’. The ace director now plans to work on a film based on Shakespeare’s famous play ‘Hamlet’. Buzz has it that Vishal Bhardwaj is looking forward to cast Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in this Bollywood adaptation of ‘Hamlet.’ It is believed that Vishal Bhardwaj is interested to rope in Hrithik Roshan to play the Prince of Denmark and Aishwarya Rai, Ophelia. Apparently, Bhardwaj always said that he would do three Shakespearean adaptations in his innings and then leave the Bard of Avon alone. Talking to a daily, a source said, “He has indeed gone to Aishwarya and Hrithik with ‘Hamlet’. He is charged about doing the last of his Shakespearean trilogy. In the past, he has approached both Hrithik and Aishwarya. Somehow things haven`t worked out. This time, he`s determined to make it."
