New Delhi: The trailer of one of the most awaited movies of the year – ‘Chennai Express’ - has finally been released by UTV Movies.
The action comedy film – which has been directed by Rohit Shetty – stars Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead roles. After the 2007 blockbuster ‘Om Shanti Om’ – which revolved around love, rebirth and revenge – the deadly duo seem all set to take the audience for a ride in their ‘Chennai Express’.
Playing the part of a typical South Indian girl, Deepika not only seems to have mastered the dressing style and mannerisms but also the language to near perfection.
As shown in the trailer, Shah Rukh plays the part of a 40-year-old man who is out on a vacation but accidently meets Deepika, whose father is a very deadly don, and how things turn around after this meeting.
The two are seen squabbling over small things and trying to prove the other person wrong in almost every matter. In a mere two minute trailer, it is evident that the movie is full of action and comedy.
During the entire duration, the title track of the movie is heard and in one shot Deepika is even seen dancing to the tune of a song in a lungi-avaitor combo.
Going by the looks of the trailer, the film looks like a sheer entertainer.
