Drunken Imran Khan’s dirty dancing in ‘I Hate Luv Storys’!

Mumbai: While shooting for debutant director Punit Malhotra’s ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ in Goa, Imran had to get drunk, in order to overcome his inhibition to perform a club song with a bevy of beautiful girls in the beaches of Goa. With Punit wanted all the girls to be flirtatious with Imran, the actor was hesitant and requested the director to tone down the steps. The song, which features Imran Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Bruna Abdullah and Samir Dattani was exclusively shot in beaches. However, when Punit asked Imran to get playful with girls, the actor objected. Talking to a news daily, a close source said, "Punit got Imran drunk during the shoot as his character is required to be in good spirits. He made a really stiff drink for him and by the end of the shoot, Imran was slurring." "Imran was sceptical about dancing closely with some girls. He kept asking if I could do away with it. I somehow managed to get Imran quite drunk during the shoot. Both Imran and Bruna were to have drinks, but I put more alcohol in Imran`s drink and by the end of the night, he was actually slurring," Punit said. "Well, I can say that I got the footage I required. I think I am an expert at getting work done by hook or crook. We plan to release the first promo some time mid May. I am quite excited for everyone to listen to the music. Vishal and Shekhar have done an amazing job," the director added.
