Mumbai: While a hoard of Bollywood filmmakers have created a niche for themselves in the industry after successfully coming up with period flicks, the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar is planning to do things differently.

Unlike other directors, who’ve been taking up period films based on real life events or mythological stories, Farhan is reportedly working on a script of a period film that will not be depicting any historical events.

Sources reveal that Farhan’s upcoming venture would instead be a fictitious story set in some particular period of the pre-independence era.

Well, that truly sounds out of the ordinary. Guess, Farhan’s gearing up to set a trend, once again!
