Mumbai: Bollywood hunks Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham are all set to battle it out at the Box Office, as their upcoming flick ‘Guzaarish’ and ‘Aashayein’ respectively gears up for release. Buzz has it that John is panicked about his new film, whose story is quite similar to that of Hrithik in ‘Guzzarish’ and is making all the efforts to get maximum publicity for his film.
John is desperately seeking a big opening for ‘Aashayein’, especially after the long-delayed flick is pitted against Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Guzzarish’.
Apparently, to promote the film, a track of Pritam Chakraborty is being used even if the song was never a part of the film.
Music composer Pritam is not only flabbergasted, but embarrassed! Talking to a news daily, he said, “I woke up one day to see Sridhar and myself singing on television for a promotional clipping for ‘Aashayein’. I had never composed that song for ‘Aashayein’!”
As Pritam wondered how the track got into the film, some discreetly talked about how T-Series, who is co-producing ‘Aashayein’ with Reliance Big Pictures had decided to use the Pritam-Sridhar music video to promote the film, which desperately needs a big boost.
Pritam further added, “I didn’t do the music video for ‘Aashayein.’ But if it’s being used to promote the film, then I am sure Bhooshan Kumar of T-Series has a plan.”
