New Delhi: Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra is a "very happy" man as `Delhi-6` won two national awards Wednesday.
The Abhishek Bachchan-Sonam Kapoor starrer won the Nargis Dutt Award for best feature film on national integration and also the best production design award for Samir Chanda. "I am very happy that `Delhi-6` has got recognition at the National Awards. The reason we had made this film was that the land suffers from integration; lack of understanding between religions and we have got recognised for the same. It is a very overwhelming feeling," Mehra said in a statement. Produced and distributed by UTV Motion Pictures, "Delhi-6" also stars Waheeda Rahman, Om Puri, Rishi Kapoor, Divya Dutta and Prem Chopra, who play pivotal roles. Amitabh Bachchan makes a guest appearance in the film. IANS
