Imtiaz to follow Ekta’s superstitious footsteps!

Mumbai: Superstition in Bollywood has been an age old practise! Buzz has it that the latest B-town celeb to join this bandwagon is Imtiaz Ali. Apparently, director Imtiaz and producers Ashtavinayak Cine Vision have decided to move the release date of their upcoming film ‘Rockstar’ from September 9th to a more auspicious date, November 11th, which interestingly makes the release date of the film 11.11.11. We have all known Ekta Kapoors’s obsession with the letter ‘K’ it has been her superstition since the beginning of her career. A source revealed to a daily that the Ranbir-Nargis Fakhri starrer, ‘Rockstar’ was intentionally planned to release on 11.11.11, as this date`s combination occurs once in every thousand years. “It also adds up to the 3, 6 and 9 series that is considered to be very lucky to many people. While finalizing on an appropriate release date for the film, the producers at Ashtavinayak felt that there couldn`t be a better option than November 11. Not only was it a good time to release the film business-wise, but the dates were turning out to be very significant in numerology. When they discussed this with Imtiaz, he readily agreed,” explained the source. Well, we wish this brings Imtiaz luck and we are sure fans already can’t wait!
