Mumbai: Supernatural thriller ‘Ek Thi Daayan’, which was reportedly turned down by Rani Mukerji, now stars three heroines and interestingly they are comfortable representing the film.
Co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ features Kalki Koechlin, Huma Qureshi and Konkona Sen Sharma in the female lead roles, while Emraan Hashmi plays the male lead.
According to a source, "All the three heroines have asked the producers if they could be the face of `daayan` in the trailer."
The first trailer of the film will be released with Bhardwaj`s ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ on Jan 11 and it only features Emraan, who explains the qualities of a `daayan` in it.
Directed by debutant Kannan Iyer, ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ releases April 18.
