Kangna backs out from Ekta Kapoor’s MMS scandal flick
Mumbai: Kangna Ranaut is no more a part of Ekta’s next psychological thriller ‘Ragini MMS’. The film, inspired by real life MMS scandal was to feature Kangna in the lead, but owing to some high explicit content, the otherwise audacious Kangna apparently chickened out from the controversial project.
Now, after Kangna willingly backing out, the makers have zeroed in on some good looking faces as the cast of the film. The project goes on floor next week and is likely to release in March 2011.
Reportedly, ‘Ragini MMS’ had good amount of skin show and graphic content and it is presumed that Kangna might have got intimated with those scenes.
Speaking to a daily, a source close to the film said, “Yes, ‘Ragini MMS’ has a lot of explicit content. That could be one of the reasons why Kangna turned it down. She would have been ideal for this film, as she is a very strong actress, but it`s okay. There is no animosity between Kangna and Ekta. Balaji is considering Kangna for other forthcoming projects.”
Well, whether it is a wise decision or not will only be known after the Box Office result of the flick is out.
