Mumbai: Fresh from the success of ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’, Kangna Ranaut is quite happy the way her Bollywood innings have shaped up.
Oozing with confidence, talking to a news daily, Kangna said, “I don`t think any other actress in Bollywood has as many films as I do.”
In the coming six months, Kangna has quite a films lined up for release, which include ‘Knockout’, ‘Tanu weds Manu’ and ‘Game’, where the feisty actress plays an Interpol officer.
Talking about her role of an Interpol office in ‘Game’, Kangna said, “It is by far the most difficult role I`ve attempted. It was challenging to prepare for this role of a British girl from London who is actually quite like a man in many ways.”
In order to get into the skin of the character, Kangna is working on her accent, as she has to speak with a Brit accent in ‘Game’.
Apparently, Excel Entertainment were toying with the idea of getting a male actor for this role as she said, “However, they felt that a guy chasing a guy thing didn`t have that much of a novelty, so they changed it and I`m fortunate that they got me to do the role instead. I had to make sure that I got the body language perfect. There is nothing romantic or sensual about this Interpol officer. Yet my director didn`t want to go overboard with the stiffness and appear like too masculine. Believe me, it was a challenge. And ‘Game’ is a film that I just enjoyed preparing for. It`s a never-been-seen before character as far as Bollywood goes.``
It seems Kangna is on a signing spree, for the actress has just signed ‘Double Dhamaal’ and ‘Rascals’ and is also going through a lot of scripts, " I have been reading scripts and considering a few more projects. But now dates are an issue because I have signed on a lot of films and all are good,`` she said.
Well, it’s raining films for Kangna Ranaut!
