New Delhi: So finally, after a lot of intense discussions with his casting team, Kareena Kapoor is set to work with the macho Hrithik Roshan in 'Shuddhi'.
Earlier, it was reported how the film makers are having a tough time deciding between Kareena and Deepika Padukone as the film’s lead heroine. But now the way is clear for Kareena as she has bagged the meaty role in this mega budget movie.
This is certainly good news for Kareena and Hrithik fans who have been waiting eagerly since 10 years to see the magic the couple’s on-screen chemistry spews.
Ever since ‘Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon’, the duo could not be brought on board a film by any director more because of their link-up rumours that spread like wildfire in the industry. However, Karan Johar’s strong determination and Hrithik and Bebo’s cordial work relations mean that the audience are in for some high-octane cinema in 2014 — the due year for the film’s release.
Although the film’s crew will begin shooting in November 2013, we are here counting each passing day with bated breath to get a glimpse of the first look of the film.
