Mumbai: Salman and Katrina might have parted ways but the two remains real close friends or so it seems. The estranged couple that came together for a song in Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ have now signed a full fledged Yash Raj film where they will be seen romancing each other onscreen.
But that isn’t all, buzz has it that Kat has not only signed a flick with Salman but also one with SRK and that too will be produced by the YRF banner. As per reports, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together in a film directed by Kabir Khan. The actress has also signed another film with the banner and this one will star her opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
Confirming the news a source said, "The film with Shah Rukh will be a romantic one and will go on floor by the end of this year. The Sal-Kat starrer is an action-thriller-romance."
Story goes that Salman was initially averse to working with the YRF banner. And this was all owing to the Chak De! controversy. Buzz has it that the role was first offered to him, bt since the banner refused to pay him his asking price he declined the offer. Sources state that YRF had a policy of paying actors below their market price since it is considered to a prestigious banner.
However, the banner’s policy has now changed and it has started paying top dollar to the A-List actors.
