Lara does not have the commercial star tag, says Vinay
Mumbai: Actor Vinay Pathak, who is paired with Lara Dutta in their upcoming film `Chalo Dilli`, says, the actress does not come with the baggage of a commercial star.
"Lara is a wonderful actor and a performer. We enjoyed the journey of making this film. She does not have a commercial baggage...or commercial star tag, she is always on time. This time she was playing a double role that of an actor and a producer. She was aware about what was happening on the production and creative front," Vinay told reporters in an interview.
`Chalo Dilli` brings together on screen for the first time a bizarre journey full of adventure, madness and crazy comic moments with this oddest travelling couple ever.
On his association with Lara, the versatile actor, said, "I am very much thrilled and excited. It is a fantastic opportunity to work with Lara. She is very professional. She has done some fantastic and wonderful roles. With the kind of talent she has I feel she is not exploited to that extent in the film industry."
"I am ecstatic of the fact that we have come together for a film that has given us ample opportunity to both of us to indulge in what we know the best. It is the most creative and fun film," Vinay said.
Lara essays the role of Mihika Banerjee who works with a top multinational financial Institution. She finds herself on a journey with Manu Gupta (Vinay) who is a Chandni Chowk resident, running a sari shop in Karol Bagh.
