Living her Bollywood dream, Sonam wants Hollywood to wait
Mumbai: Bollywood’s most sought after babe is literally all over the place, with her kitty full of projects. And to say that she is enjoying every bit of it wouldn’t be an overstatement.
Sonam Kapoor has already had two releases this year – ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ and ‘Aisha’ and if sources are to be believed the actor is working on three more prestigious projects, besides signing a major cola brand endorsement deal only days ago.
Sonam is at present working on Pankaj Kapur’s ‘Mausam’, Anees Bazmee’s ‘Thank You’ and Abbas-Mustan’s unnamed project - a remake of the Hollywood Blockbuster ‘The Italian Job’.
“There is a lot happening. After ‘Aisha’ released and the promotional drive ended, I wanted to take a vacation. Rhea had even finalised Paris, but look, I’m working again. I’m shooting!” said Sonam, who’s currently in Toronto shooting for ‘Thank You’ with co-star Akshay Kumar.
She further added, “We just wrapped up the shoot of a song for Thank You. It’s my first heavy-duty full-on Bollywood number. It was too much fun shooting for it. It’s getting cold in Canada and, on top of that, we had to glam up in the chill. Plus, Akshay is brilliant. It’s non-stop fun.”
On being asked about her recent Hollywood connection the actor says that she is living her childhood dream and is more than satisfied with Bollywood for now. She thinks that Hollywood can wait. “I don’t want to comment on that right now. These three movies are really keeping me busy. I don’t think I will say no to something very big in Hollywood, provided I have the time,” she said.
“This is definitely my most productive year. I completely enjoy overworking,” she signed off.
