Madhur puts Kareena on hold for rom-com ‘Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji’
Mumbai: ‘Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji’, the famous lyric from ‘Ishqiya’ is now the title of realistic filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s next film.
The ace director who is known to find inspiration from real life instances has decided to take a break from morose subjects and make a romantic comedy instead. What’s more is that the taskmaster has decided to put his much talked about project ‘Heroine’ starring Kareena Kapoor on hold for this much needed change.
But like all his films, this one too has landed in controversy. Apparently, the title was registered by actor Shatrughan Sinha, who after much coaxing agreed to part with the title.
The film will go on the floors in July and will be completed in a time-span of 55 days. Even though Madhur remained unavailable for comment, a source close to him confirmed the news.
Talking about the film, a source told a daily, "Madhur is known for making realistic cinema, but this film will be different from all his other films. It will be a thoroughly entertaining film. Though Madhur is yet to decide the star cast of Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji, the film will surely have some prominent actors."
