Miniature animation films to promote `Samrat and Co`

Mumbai:In a bid to promote `Samrat & Co` in an innovative way, its makers have come up with short animation films and further plan to launch comic books and video games.The makers of `Samrat & Co` have conceptualised and designed short miniature animation films which are individual stories highlighting the adventures of Samrat and company.

Actors Rajeev Khandelwal, Madalsa Sharma and Gopal Datt of the actual film have been animated and the characters and artists of the actual movie have dubbed for these animation films. Since this (detective) is a new genre, to give the taste of actual film they have made these small animation films. In each film, Samrat will be solving one case. "`Samrat & Co` for me is not just a film, it`s the world of Samrat which has a lot of stories and adventures he undertakes. Eventually, we will come up with comic books and video games too," director Kaushik Ghatak said. Also, a conscious decision has been made to go only with those television shows to promote which support the genre and concept of the film. "We had to do something different as there are a lot of products in the market," producer Kavita Barjatya said. Releasing on April 25, `Samrat & Co` is produced by Kavita Barjatya under her family banner Rajshri Productions. It stars Rajeev Khandelwal in the lead.
