Mumbai: Subhash Ghai`s Mukta Arts has forayed into making Kannada movies and started working on its first production `Nimbe Huli` (Sweet and Sour), sources said.
Directed by Hemanth Hegde, the film stars Komal Jha, Madhurima, Anupam Kher, Rangarayana Raghu and Hemanth Hegde himself. The shooting of the movie is expected to be over by end of November, they said.
Music is by Veer Samarth while director of photography is Sandeep Kumar and editing by P R Soundar Raj.
Mukta Arts had forayed into regional films in 2008 with two Marathi films `Valu`, directed by Umesh Kulkarni and `Sanai Chaughade` directed by Rajeev Patil.
`Valu` was a big hit at the box office and had also received wide critical acclaim.
