My films are doing well without skin show, says Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha has said that she doesn`t need to wear revealing outfits to make her films successful.

New Delhi: Sonakshi Sinha – who is basking in the new-found glory of the success of ‘Lootera’ – has said that she doesn`t need to wear revealing outfits to make her films successful. According to a leading daily, on being asked if the glamour quotient in films attract her to turn uber sexy with skimpy outfits, Sonakshi said, “I don`t feel like wearing such revealing attires. Even in school or colleges, I never wore short clothes. Directors don`t come to me with such kind of roles. I don`t have such a personality or outlook towards life.” She went on to say, “My films are doing well without skin show and I don`t need to do. I think audience can identify with me and I don`t have an unattainable image. I have always been close to my parents and I play roles which are identifiable to audience.” The 26-year-old actress – who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Dabangg’ in 2010 – has delivered hits like ‘Rowdy Rathore’, ‘Dabangg 2’ and ‘Son of Sardaar’ without any skin show. In fact, if rumours are anything to go by, her love-making scene with Ranveer Singh in ‘Lootera’ was also closely watched by mother Poonam Sinha to make sure there wasn’t a hint of obscenity in it.
