Naseeruddin Shah rubbishes boycotting `John Day` reports

Mumbai: There were reports that Naseeruddin Shah and Randeep Hooda decided to boycott `John Day` on discovering its unoriginal content, but the former denies any such thing.

According to reports, director Ahishor Solomon`s `John Day` is ripped off from a Spanish film called `Box 507`. "I was unaware of any similarity and I haven`t seen that Spanish film," said Naseer and added: "I must find out about that film first. But how many original movies are made here in the first place?" Naseer, known for his work in films like `Arth`, `Masoom`, and most recent `Iqbal`, says he doesn`t work in plagiarized product. "Not knowingly for sure. Unknowingly I may had." IANS
