Nihalani turns director with Govinda starrer `Avatar`

Mumbai: Pahlaj Nihalani, who has been a producer all this while, has turned director with ‘Avatar’, which stars Govinda in the lead role. The actor is excited about collaborating with the filmamer after a long gap.

"After `Shola Aur Shabnam` and `Aankhen`, it`s great to work with Pahlajji again. It is Pahlajji`s subject and we are working hard on it," Govinda, 48, told reporters.

In fact, Govinda`s first big hit was Nihalani`s production "Ilzaam".

"When I started my work, there was the same kind of atmosphere. We enjoy working together. It`s been so many years, but things haven`t changed for us," added the actor who is playing new innings in fildom after saying good bye to his unsuccessful stint in politics.
