Mumbai: Tigmanshu Dhulia’s latest offering ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ has already won over critics and viewers. Despite a low-key opening and low-budget content, the film has emerged a winner as far as Box Office collections are concerned.
The film has grossed an amount of Rs. 4.25 crores in the opening weekend itself, and the graph is expected to rise even higher. A tweet from trade analyst Taran Adarsh read, “PaanSinghTomar collected Rs 4.25 cr net in its opening weekend [on limited screens/shows]. Fri 85 lacs, Sat 1.4 cr, Sun 2 cr. Superb!”
The eponymous film, based on the life of the steeplechase athlete who turned into one of the dreaded dacoits of the Chambal valley has garnered a lot of applause. And looking at the box office collections, the applauses seem to be transforming into notes – the green ones, and otherwise – of appreciation!
