Mumbai: Director Abbas Tyrewala’s better-half Pakhi, who makes her acting debut with John Abraham in ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’, had to write eight drafts before the director of the film gave his final nod.
Apparently, Pakhi also doubles as the script writer of the film apart from being its female lead. Talking to a news daily about ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’, Pakhi said, "Working on ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’ was not an easy thing for me. I had to write eighth drafts of the film before it was finally given the green signal. Actually, the idea of the film was Abbas` brainchild but he gave me the task of writing the entire project. When I look back, I feel it has been a fantastic fare so far."
When enquired about her co-star John, Pakhi added, "I have to give credit to John for being a great co-star. In fact it was at his insistence that I agreed to play the lead in the film. He is simply a great actor and a wonderful human being."
