New Delhi: They are the popular first cousins of Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra have successfully managed to create a niche for themselves in the showbiz. With the former being much more experienced than her little sister Pari, their upcoming films were headed for a clash at the box-office window. However, reports now suggest that it has been averted by the production house.
Priyanka`s `Mary Kom` based on the life of boxer MC Mary Kom has already generated a lot of buzz among the audiences and it would have been a cut-throat competition for the makers of Parineeti`s `Daawat-E-Ishq` to release their film on the same day as PeeCee`s on September 5.
It has been reported that Yash Raj Films` in a statement revealed that in order to carry out the promotional activities for their film `Daawat-E-Ishq`, more time is sought—thereby postpoing the release date of the film to September 19, 2014.
The Twitter handle of `Daawat-E-Ishq` posted:

We hope that this does benefit the makers as well as the star cast of the respective films. `Daawat-E-Ishq` has been directed by Habib Faisal and has Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead opposite the bubbly Parineeti. `Mary Kom`, on the other hand has been helmed by first-time director Omung Kumar and has Priyanka playing the lead role of the Olympic medal winner.
