Priyanka Chopra turns Badmaash Babli for ‘Shootout at Wadala’

Priyanka Chopra has agreed to do a retro dance number in ‘Shootout at Wadala’.

New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra has finally laid all the speculations to rest over her special dancer number in Sanjay Gupta`s ‘Shootout at Wadala’ by agreeing to do a retro song in the flick – but – after making sure that the lyrics are free of any vulgarity and intended puns or sexual innuendoes. Gupta took to Twitter, to tell his fans “So Priyanka Chopra it is guys! She will be performing our smashing retro chartbuster- `Babli badmaash hai`, composed by Anu Malik.” “Three songs were run past her. She finally flipped for ‘Babli Badmaash Hai’. The song has been composed by Anu Malik and will be sung by Sunidhi Chauhan,” a leading daily quoted a source as saying. The source added, “When PeeCee heard the song, she thought it was RD Burman meeting Feroz Khan. Glamour yes, but no vulgarity.” The flick, which will hit theatres on May 1, features John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Sonu Sood, Manoj Bajpayee and Tusshar Kapoor as well. We hope the dance number turns out to be a smashing hit!
