Priyanka’s not an item for Saif!

Mumbai: Ever since Priyanka Chopra performed a sizzling act in Shah Rukh Khan’s home production ‘Billu’, the svelte actress has refrained from peek-a-boo numbers in films. But given the craze of B-town gals vying for scintillating first-rate item numbers lately, the industrywallas raised eye brows when the hottie refused to gyrate to an item song in Saif Ali Khan’s much talked about action flick ‘Agent Vinod’. Priyanka rebuking the offer reinforces the long-standing rivalry between her and Kareena Kapoor, the lead actress of ‘Agent Vinod’. The two actresses have in the past taken their catfight on the sets in front of the media leaving no opportunity to take a dig at each other. A source talking to daily said, "Dinesh Vijan, the co-owner of Illuminati Films, the production house, has met up with Priyanka in London and offered her the item number. Priyanka is not too keen to take up the offer. While miracles can happen anytime in Bollywood, the chances of Priyanka changing her mind over this dance number are extremely remote." Meanwhile B-town folks are convinced that the PC and Bebo are yet to bury the hatchet. To recall, Kareena on Karan Johar`s chat show said about Priyanka, "I wonder where she got her accent from." Priyanka had retorted, "I want to tell Kareena that I got my accent from the same place where her boyfriend (Saif Ali Khan) got his." Priyanka who has done a cameo in Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘RA.One’ seems to have drawn the line when it came to Saif Ali Khan`s home production. The actress, who had maintained that she doesn`t want to do item numbers anymore, seems to have been welcoming offers only from good friend Shah Rukh Khan. Whereas for Saif Ali Khan, Priyanka is simply not interested.
